5 iphone games I wanna see!

August 17, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Jumping right in:

5. Mike Tyson’s Punchout / A boxing game just like it.

Anyone who’s played the NES version knows how much fun this game is.  With its simple controls it could port over to the iPhone with some side button additions (below), and if you get knocked out out… “shake to get up”

4. Astropop

Astropop: Click Here to see Astropop.  A fun puzzler. I think that Critter Crunch may be the same style of game, yet I can’t confirm or deny this statement.

3. A Tower Defense game

You either love, hate or have no idea what this game is.  I love it and would love to see it on the iPhone.

2. Line Rider

I read somewhere that this is more like a toy than a game.  I kinda stopped playing with this toy long ago, but if there were an iPhone version….

Easy with use of fingers!

1. A First Person Shooter…

??? I can’t say anything about this that hasn’t already been said.  I can mock-up a snap on controller with a analog stick, two buttons and a trigger.

A couple of iPhone ideas…

November 19, 2007 · 1 Comment

Okay so first is a simple one… a light.lightOn my iPhone, in iPod, in videos lives a file named “1White.m4v”. Its a 30 second flash video of a blank white screen, I use it as a flashlight. What would be better is a light app, that you could set preferences, length, behaviors, ect. Maybe called Bright light, Flash light, Night light, but not iLight.

-and “Quadrants”

My only real “issue” with my iPhone is the lack of shortcuts, of any kind, especially a “speed dial” shortcut. So with this you can set a “hot corners” like effect on the “slide to unlock” screen. Using a thumb and finger, or two thumbs, hold one in the quadrant of your choice and unlock with the other.quads

(The white lines in the illustration on the right would be invisible on actual phone)

This would give “speed dial” a shortcut, or stocks, contacts, iPod, calender, stopwatch, text messages, ect. even iLight. Not being a developer of any kind, I hope somebody is making these – will see these and make these – will see these and tell someone who can make these – or tell someone to help me write better, please

If you feel I have neglected to mention one of your favorite sites, feel free to post them in the comments.

American Apparel makes the best shirts.

Also, Design by Humans has a great page for those curious to the styles of screen printing. They call it screenprinting 101
